Commonly Asked Questions
How do I know if it is time to make and end of life decision for my pet?
This is a very personal decision and what is right for your pet and your family may be different from what was right for your friends' or family's animals. It is important to consider the quality of life for both the animal and the caregivers. Is your animal free from physical and mental pain? Are they able to accept the care their disease is requiring and is it an acceptable burden for caregivers to be able to provide this care? Please do not hesitate to reach out for more guidance making this decision.
How far in advance should i book my appointment?
It is best if we can coordinate an appointment a fews days in advance however we understand that things can change very quickly and we can try and accommodate same day appointments.
How long will it take before my pet's ashes and memorial items are returned?
This will depend on the service that you choose and any memorial products you would like included. Some custom memorial items such as jewelry and paw prints can take several weeks. Typically your pet's cremated remains will be returned to your regular veterinarian within 2 weeks.
