Services We Provide
Home visits are often easier for older animals for a variety of reasons. Both the clinic, and the car ride to get there, can be frightening and difficult for an older or debilitated animal. We are better able to assess your pet at home where they are most relaxed and comfortable, to provide the services they need to help keep them with their family for as long as possible. When that is no longer an option we can provide end of life care in your home.
Dr. Dorothy is a certified canine rehabilitation therapist. This additional training can be used to help with mobility support, home exercise programs, pain management and environmental assessment of your home. Prescription medications can also be used to help support your older animal to keep them comfortable and with you for as long as possible.
End of Life Services
When you come to the difficult and painful decision that it is time to say goodbye we can provide in home euthanasia services. It can be more peaceful for the whole family to be at home. We can also help arrange care for your pet's body with cremation services and transportation to the crematorium. If you chose memorial items they can be delivered to your regular veterinary clinic or back to your home.
